Junior Systems Administrator – ConnectWise Houston, TX $50,000 to $65,000 About Junior Systems Administrator – ConnectWise Exciting opportunity to join a thriving MSP as a Junior Systems Administrator. This role offers the chance to learn and advance both technically and within the company, with a strong emphasis on internal growth. This is a hybrid work-from-home position, with the expectation of being in the office 3-4 days per week after training. Increasing flexibility in the hybrid arrangement is possible with tenure. The Junior Systems Administrator is responsible for handling first level support of service requests in a professional and timely manner. This relates to all technology, to include workstations, servers, printers, networks, VOIP systems, Office 365, cloud, and vendor specific hardware and software. Junior Systems Administrator – ConnectWise Job Responsibilities: Provide IT support for technical issues related to Microsoft’s core business applications and operating systems. Support disaster recovery solutions. Offer basic technical support for network connectivity at both WAN and LAN levels, including routers, firewalls, and security systems. Implement and support basic remote access solutions like VPN and Terminal Services. Monitor alerts and notifications from the remote monitoring and management system, and address issues through service tickets. Maintain and review system documentation in ConnectWise. Communicate with customers as needed, providing updates on incident progress, informing them of upcoming changes, and coordinating agreed outages. Junior Systems Administrator – ConnectWise Requirements: Experience in the Managed Service Provider (MSP) industry Proficient knowledge of operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and network systems. Familiarity with ConnectWise or other Professional Services Automation/Remote Monitoring and Management (PSA/RMM) tools Comprehension of support tools, techniques, and the utilization of technology in service provision.
