Junior Tax Accountant / Data entry (Remote)

Here at Dimov Tax we are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Tax Accountant / Data Entry Specialist to support our tax preparation team. This role is responsible for accurately entering and organizing client tax information into Intuit ProConnect Tax, maintaining confidential records, and assisting tax professionals with administrative and data processing tasks during tax season and throughout the year.

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, basic accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage sensitive financial information with accuracy and professionalism.

Responsabilities

• Enter client tax documents and financial information into Intuit ProConnect Tax accurately and efficiently.
• Review client documentation for completeness and identify missing information.
• Organize and maintain electronic tax files and supporting documents.
• Verify data accuracy before submission to senior tax preparers or accountants.
• Assist with importing, scanning, and categorizing tax documents.
• Communicate with team members regarding missing or inconsistent client information.
• Follow established tax office procedures and data security protocols.
• Support tax professionals with administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of all client financial and personal information.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards during high-volume tax periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounting or tax concepts.
• Experience with data entry or administrative work preferred.
• Familiarity with Intuit ProConnect Tax or other tax software is a plus.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and document management systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

• Fast and accurate typing/data entry skills.
• Ability to review documents carefully for discrepancies.
• Experience working in a tax office, bookkeeping firm, or accounting environment preferred.
