Junior UI Developer

This Junior UI Developer position focuses on building clear, functional interfaces for complex financial systems. You will support a project for a French industrial engineering firm, ensuring their reporting tools are intuitive and accurate. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from your preferred location while contributing to meaningful finance-focused technical solutions.

We specialize in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and analytics, helping finance teams fix platforms that never delivered on their promises. While we build new systems from scratch, much of our work involves remediating existing setups in Oracle EPM, SAP BPC, and Power BI. We focus on the numbers side of the house, ensuring that consolidation rules, intercompany eliminations, and reporting pipelines reflect how a finance team actually operates.

What You Will Do

• Configure user interfaces within Oracle EPM and Power BI to simplify complex data entry for finance teams.
• Maintain and update reporting dashboards to ensure visual layouts match the specific accounting structures of our clients.
• Translate financial requirements into technical UI components such as input forms and drill-through reports.
• Work closely with senior consultants to map out data flows and ensure the front-end reflects real-time financial accuracy.
• Draft clear, step-by-step documentation for client administrators so they can manage their own interfaces.
• Assist in testing UI features across different browsers to ensure consistent performance for all remote users.
• Participate in daily remote syncs to update the project team on progress and technical hurdles.
• Collaborate with the data team to ensure that front-end visualizations correctly represent complex consolidation rules.

What We Are Looking For

• Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript principles.
• A strong interest in how data is presented within financial or business intelligence software.
• A basic understanding of accounting principles or financial statements is helpful but not mandatory.
• Excellent attention to detail: you notice when a margin is off by a pixel or a number is misaligned in a report.
• Curiosity about Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) tools and a desire to learn how they function.
• Strong communication skills for explaining technical UI choices to colleagues and finance professionals.
• The ability to work independently in a remote setting while staying connected with a distributed team.
• Willingness to learn proprietary configuration languages used within enterprise financial software.
