Job Description

About the job:

In our Consumer Experience teams, we shape how millions of customers discover, choose, and purchase products every day. As a Junior UX Researcher, you will join a mature, highly collaborative community of researchers and designers dedicated to elevating the shopping experience across diverse product categories.

In this role you will work on hands-on research initiatives across various domains - ranging from search and navigation to personalized category experiences - while receiving structured mentorship from some of the most experienced research practitioners on the market. With dedicated time for learning, regular knowledge-sharing initiatives, and a supportive team culture, you will gain real-world research expertise at a scale unique to e-commerce leaders.

In your daily work you will handle the following tasks:

  • Supporting the execution of qualitative and quantitative user research across key shopping touchpoints and multiple product categories.

  • Conducting user interviews, usability tests, surveys and many other research methods to identify customer needs, friction points, and opportunities.

  • Synthesizing research findings into clear, structured takeaways, user journeys, and actionable recommendations.

  • Collaborating on a daily basis with UX Designers, Product Managers, and UX Researchers to inform product and design decisions.

  • Tracking industry best practices and innovative UX solutions to inspire and support the product team.

  • Actively participating in internal research community rituals, skill-building workshops, and team learning initiatives.

We are looking for people who:

  • Have around 1–2 years of professional experience in a business or project environment (this doesn’t have to be purely in UX - experience in social research, customer discovery, market research, or related fields is welcome).

  • Have hands-on experience planning or conducting research projects involving direct user interviews, or qualitative/quantitative data collection.

  • Possess strong critical thinking and analytical curiosity, with an eagerness to understand how users think and make decisions.

  • Demonstrate genuine business awareness and interest in e-commerce trends, user behaviors, and digital products.

  • Are great active listeners with clear, concise communication skills - comfortable engaging with new people, facilitating conversations, and presenting findings.

  • Welcome feedback with an open mind, while being able to back up observations and recommendations with substantive arguments.

  • Are organized, proactive, and comfortable managing project timelines in an agile setting.

  • Speak and write fluent Polish (minimum C1) and English (minimum B2).

  • A plus: Experience facilitating workshops, public speaking/presenting at meetups or conferences, or a background in cognitive science, psychology, sociology, or human-computer interaction.

What's in it for you:

  • Flexible working hours in the hybrid model (4/1) - working hours start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. We also have 30 days of occasional remote work.

  • Well-located offices (with e.g. fully equipped kitchens, bicycle parking, terraces full of greenery) and excellent work tools (e.g., raised desks, ergonomic chairs, interactive conference rooms).

  • A 16" or 14" MacBook Pro or corresponding Dell with Windows (if you don't like Macs) and all the necessary accessories.

  • A wide selection of fringe benefits in a cafeteria plan - you choose what you like (e.g., medical, sports or lunch packages, insurance, purchase vouchers).

  • English classes that we pay for related to the specific nature of your job.

  • A training budget, inter-team tourism, hackathons, and an internal learning platform where you will find multiple trainings.

  • An additional day off for volunteering, which you can use alone, with a team, or with a larger group of people.

  • Social events for Allegro people - Spin Kilometers, Family Day, Fat Thursday, Advent of Code, and many other occasions we enjoy.

#goodtobehere means that:

  • You will shape the future of e-commerce - creating innovative, pioneering solutions that set new market standards. We have over 21 million active buyers across 6 countries and collaborate with more than 164k Partners.

  • You will join a team you can always count on - we have on board top-class specialists who have sharing knowledge, experience, and best practices in their DNA. Want to get to know them better? Listen to the Allegro Podcast.

  • You will be part of a team that always aims to stay one step ahead of the market - we act quickly, dynamically, and at the highest level, because only then we can genuinely shape the future of e-commerce.

  • You will see that mistakes are opportunities to learn - we believe that no matter how well we execute, we can always get better.
