Junior Web Developer

Role Summary:

We are looking for a Junior Web Designer who will be responsible for creating and improving the visual and functional aspects of websites and online platforms. The ideal candidate combines a sense of design with technical knowledge, actively collaborates with marketing and development teams and contributes to the development of a consistent online brand identity. In addition to working on existing projects, the candidate is expected to implement custom technical solutions and continuously monitor modern web trends and technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Creating visual content for websites and online platforms (graphics, layouts, interface elements).
  
• Experience working with WordPress, including site development, enhancement of existing projects, and the use of page builders (experience with Divi Builder is preferred).
  
• Supporting the development of the online brand identity by creating visual elements for campaigns and communication materials.
  
• Converting Figma designs into functional, fully responsive code.
  
• Writing and implementing custom PHP and JavaScript scripts.
  
• Knowledge of WordPress site creation and working on existing projects to enhance functionality.
  
• Testing, optimizing and deploying new versions of systems to production.
  
• Receiving, analyzing and resolving technical issues, as well as improving existing solutions.
  
• Close collaboration with senior web developers, designers, marketing and development teams to ensure consistency and quality.
  
• Keeping up to date with the latest trends in web design and technologies to continuously improve work.
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the same or similar roles.
  
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree (VI or VII level according to NOKS) in Web Design, Graphic Design, Art, Information Technology or a related field.
  
• Experience working with the WordPress platform and familiarity with page builders.
  
• Basic knowledge of software engineering and OOP principles (PHP).
  
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript (including jQuery).
  
• Experience with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD).
  
• Understanding design principles (typography, color theory, composition).
  
• Ability to optimize content for different devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
  
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
  
• Active knowledge of English.
