Job Description

This is a promotional opportunity for current, employees of Idaho State University only.

The K-12 Program Coordinator supports the day-to-day administration and delivery of the Albion Institute’s K-12 professional learning program. Working under the direction of the K-12 Program Manager, the position coordinates course administration, supports educational content specialists, instructors, and graders, monitors routine course delivery, and helps ensure offerings are delivered efficiently and consistently with established Institute and University standards.

The Coordinator carries out established operational workflows, maintains accurate program information and documentation, provides direct learner and instructional-team support, addresses routine administrative issues, and implements approved course and process updates. The Coordinator supplies timely operational information to the K-12 Program Manager, who serves as product manager, supervises program personnel, establishes priorities, makes product and operational decisions, and coordinates substantive learning-design, quality, development, and redevelopment matters with the Learning Experience Manager.

This position is not eligible for new visa sponsorship at this time. Candidates who already hold valid U.S. work authorization may be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Program Operations and Course Administration
• Coordinate of K–12 professional development courses under the K–12 Program Manager’s direction.
• Maintain course, learner, personnel, and program records and issue logs; resolve routine matters and escalate significant or recurring issues.
Instructional Team and Learner Support
• Coordinate onboarding, schedules, communications, documentation, and support for instructional personnel; flag workload, performance, or service concerns.
• Monitor learner support and facilitate online discussion forums and check-ins as assigned. Advise learners on offerings, course selection, registration, completion, and policies; document follow-up.
• Connect learners with University support and accessibility services. Escalate concerns requiring specialized assistance, formal review, or product evaluation.
• Provide Tier 2 support for escalated customer-service matters. Resolve complex course, registration, access, policy, and learner-support issues within assigned authority; document outcomes and elevate sensitive or unresolved matters.
Course Quality, Performance, and Continuous Improvement
• Track course activity, feedback, completion, service levels, grader activity, and student concerns; report exceptions to the K–12 Program Manager.
• Check post course launch content, assessments, communications, links, and course configuration against standards. Correct minor administrative or editorial issues and refer instructional, accessibility, multimedia, technical, or redevelopment concerns.
• Implement approved course and operational updates, monitor results, and coordinate with the Learning Experience Manager or other partners as assigned.
Course Development, Launch, and Program Growth
• Complete assigned launch and handoff tasks for new or revised courses, including staffing preparation, setup, documentation, learner communications, and support procedures; maintain records and verify updates.
• Support approved marketing by maintaining accurate program information and coordinating materials with the marketing team.
Compliance, Reporting, and Decision Support
• Monitor assigned activities against quality, compliance, and accessibility standards; address routine issues and escalate potential noncompliance.
• Prepare reports and maintain evidence on course delivery, learner and instructional-team support, service levels, issues, and implementation progress to inform the K–12 Program Manager’s decisions.

Minimum Qualifications

• To be considered for this position, you must be a current employee in good standing at Idaho State University.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in education or a related field.
• At least three years of professional experience in program coordination, educational program administration, continuing education, professional development, online learning, or a related area.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating programs, courses, projects, or services involving multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and operational requirements.
• Experience supporting instructors, faculty, educational content specialists, graders, facilitators, or other instructional or program personnel.
• Experience teaching in a K-12 classroom or providing instructional support in a K-12 educational setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional Certification
• Experience administering or supporting professional development, continuing education, or online learning programs for educators.
• Experience supporting instructors, graders, facilitators, or other instructional support personnel.
• Familiarity with quality assurance or continuous-improvement practices in online or adult learning environments.


Additional Information

Salary will be between $50,000 and $58,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience.
