KDB Engineering Lead

We are seeking a KDB Engineering Manager to deliver KX Insights deployment, batch ETL processing, and end-of-day data integrations across trading data sources. You will partner closely with cloud engineering to run the platform in AWS and drive integration enablement.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment and configuration of KX Insights for the target environment
• Design batch ETL workflows to process end-of-day datasets reliably
• Build integration pipelines for end-of-day data from OMS and ICE sources
• Coordinate enablement activities to onboard users and downstream teams
• Partner with cloud engineering to host and operate KX Insights on AWS
• Define integration approach and handoffs for schema and dashboard dependencies
• Establish operational runbooks for batch processing, support, and maintenance
• Validate data completeness and consistency across end-of-day loads
• Troubleshoot integration issues and drive resolution to restore processing
• Report delivery status, risks, and dependencies to keep timelines on track

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with kdb+ engineering and delivery
• 5+ years of experience deploying and operating KX Insights
• Proven leadership experience leading technical integration and enablement workstreams
• Strong project ownership skills coordinating delivery across engineering counterparts
• Hands-on batch ETL skills for end-of-day data processing pipelines
• Integration experience with order management system (OMS) end-of-day feeds
• Integration experience with ICE end-of-day data sources
• Cloud platform skills collaborating on hosting and operations in AWS
• Strong stakeholder communication skills to align interfaces and delivery expectations
• English proficiency: B2 Upper-Intermediate
