Position Overview

Concord Preparatory School is seeking a Korea Student Recruitment Manager to develop and expand our student recruitment efforts in the South Korean market.

This position will be responsible for building relationships with Korean families, education consultants, study-abroad agencies, academies, schools, and other local partners to increase awareness of Concord Preparatory School and generate qualified student enrollments.

The ideal candidate has strong connections within the Korean education or study-abroad market and understands how Korean families evaluate U.S. private high school opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Student Recruitment

• Develop and execute student recruitment strategies for the South Korean market.
• Identify and engage prospective students and families interested in attending a U.S. private high school.
• Conduct consultations and presentations for students and parents regarding Concord Preparatory School's academic programs, student life, and admissions process.
• Follow up with prospective families throughout the recruitment and enrollment process.
• Work toward established student enrollment and recruitment goals.

2. Agency & Partnership Development

• Identify and develop relationships with Korean study-abroad agencies (유학원), education consultants, academies (학원), schools, and other student recruitment partners.
• Establish and maintain a strong network of local education partners.
• Develop new referral and recruitment channels throughout South Korea.
• Represent Concord Preparatory School in meetings with education agencies and potential partners.
• Maintain ongoing communication with recruitment partners and support them throughout the student application process.

3. Korea Market Development

• Research Korean education and overseas-study trends and identify new student recruitment opportunities.
• Recommend recruitment strategies based on local market conditions and parent/student needs.
• Support Korean-language marketing and recruitment initiatives.
• Assist with local information sessions, education fairs, webinars, school presentations, and recruitment events.
• Provide feedback to the U.S. team regarding Korean families' expectations, concerns, and market trends.

4. Admissions Coordination

• Guide prospective students and families through the application and enrollment process.
• Coordinate with Concord Preparatory School's U.S.-based admissions and school teams.
• Follow up on applications, required documents, interviews, and enrollment decisions.
• Maintain accurate records of prospective students, recruitment channels, and enrollment progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Native or professional-level Korean language proficiency required.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Experience in student recruitment, international education, study-abroad consulting, admissions, education sales, or business development strongly preferred.
• Existing professional network within the Korean education or study-abroad industry is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Korean study-abroad agencies, academies, education consultants, international schools, or parent communities is a strong advantage.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable working independently and developing a new market.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with a U.S.-based team.
