Korean Interpreting Trainer

🇰🇷 WE’RE HIRING | KOREAN INTERPRETER TRAINER | REMOTE

LanguageBridge Solutions (LBS) is currently seeking an experienced Korean Interpreter Trainer to join our team and support the training and development of Korean medical interpreters.

We are looking for a trainer with strong experience in Korean–English interpretation, preferably within medical OPI/VRI environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Train and coach Korean interpreters on professional interpretation standards

• Conduct Korean–English role-plays, mock calls, and assessments

• Provide training on medical terminology, interpreting protocols, ethics, confidentiality, and call handling

• Evaluate interpreters' accuracy, fluency, terminology, professionalism, and overall performance

• Identify individual performance gaps and provide detailed coaching and feedback

• Support new-hire, refresher, and remedial training

• Track trainee attendance, progress, and performance

• Coordinate with Recruitment, QA, and Operations

Requirements:

✅ Native or near-native Korean proficiency

✅ Excellent English proficiency

✅ Previous professional Korean interpretation experience

✅ Strong medical interpretation knowledge

✅ Previous experience as an Interpreter Trainer, QA Specialist, Senior Interpreter, or Coach is highly preferred

✅ Experience with OPI/VRI interpretation

✅ Strong communication, coaching, and evaluation skills

✅ Ability to work remotely and conduct live virtual training
