Role Description

The Korean Research Intern role at W KOREA is an internship position based in Seoul, South Korea, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows partial work from home. The intern will support research related to MICE, culture, and entertainment markets, including gathering and analyzing data on international trends, partner organizations, and target audiences. Day-to-day tasks include compiling reports, preparing briefing materials, assisting with client and project research, and organizing information for internal and external presentations. The intern may help with market intelligence on governments, corporations, and institutions, and support coordination between teams working across different regions. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues, clear documentation of findings, and proactive communication to ensure research outputs are accurate, timely, and useful for strategic planning.


Qualifications

  • Strong research and analytical abilities, including the capacity to gather, evaluate, and synthesize information from diverse sources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Korean; proficiency in English is highly preferred for global collaboration.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Comfort with digital tools such as office productivity software, online research platforms, and collaborative work applications.
  • Interest in or exposure to MICE, culture, entertainment, marketing, or international relations is an advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, demonstrating reliability, self-motivation, and teamwork.
