Job Description

We are looking for talented colleagues who want to participate in the development of a key core system operating across our organization. This system is built "in-house" using modern technologies and proprietary architecture, ensuring the resulting system is dynamic, flexible, and user-friendly. Full-time Employment Contract Position

Hybrid: Prague, Brno or Pardubice

Key Responsibilities

• Management and optimization of Kubernetes clusters in production, testing, and development environments
• Ensuring high availability and scalability of Kubernetes environments
• Diagnostics and resolution of performance and security issues in Kubernetes
• Collaboration with development and DevOps teams on optimizing application deployments
• Network stack management, including configuration of network policies, VPN, and load balancers
• Automation of processes in Kubernetes and virtual environments
• Ensuring compliance with best practices in security, monitoring, and backup
• Planning and implementation of upgrades and patches
• Participation in VMware management and documentation creation
• Coordination of work with less experienced colleagues and bringing initiatives for infrastructure development
  
  

Profile / Requirements

• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes (VMware Tanzu knowledge is an advantage)
• Operational experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere knowledge is an advantage)
• Good understanding of network stack, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and network policies
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools in Kubernetes environments
• Experience with implementation and management of CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of automation and scripting for efficient infrastructure management
• Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Czech language proficiency (required), English at B2 level
