Summary

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in Kubernetes and DevOps practices to join our team. You will help build, maintain, and optimize Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and supporting infrastructure.

As a Kubernetes Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, operation, and continuous improvement of our Kubernetes ecosystem and supporting platform services. You will work closely with development, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure container platforms.


About the Role


  • Kubernetes: Deploy, operate, upgrade, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and workloads.
  • CI/CD & GitOps: Design, maintain, and improve deployment pipelines and GitOps workflows.
  • Containerization: Manage container images, registries, and application deployments.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Automate infrastructure and platform provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
  • Monitoring & Observability: Operate Prometheus, Grafana, and related monitoring solutions.
  • Networking: Support Kubernetes networking, ingress, load balancing, and service connectivity.
  • System Administration: Administer Linux-based systems and platform services.
  • Security: Implement Kubernetes and infrastructure security best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to improve deployment and operational processes.

Essential Requirements


  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or a similar role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration and application deployment.
  • Experience with CI/CD platforms (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
  • Experience with Docker and container technologies.
  • Solid Linux administration skills.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing).
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles and tools.

Desirable Requirements


  • Experience with ArgoCD, Flux, or other GitOps tools.
  • Experience with Kubernetes storage solutions (Ceph, Longhorn).
  • Experience operating PostgreSQL, Kafka, or other platform services.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (KVM, VMware, Proxmox).
  • Knowledge of authentication systems (AD, FreeIPA).
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.


Basic wage component (brutto): from 3000 EUR

* The final basic wage component can be increased accordingly to individual skills and experience of the selected candidate.
* Performance bonus 2 times per year up to 10% of the basic salary paid for the evaluation period(usually 6 months).
