About the Role
Deloitte Talent Solutions are looking for a skilled KYC Case workers (including Enhanced Due
Diligence, EDD) with strong financial crime experience to join a leading large
bank. The successful candidates will have expertise in Risk, Compliance, Audit,
Financial Crime or KYC. particularly identifying and escalating suspicious
activity, raising Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), and managing client exit
processes. Experience within retail or corporate banking environments is highly
desirable.
Key Accountabilities
- Perform comprehensive
KYC and EDD reviews on retail and corporate clients to ensure compliance with
regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Identify and raise
flags on suspicious activities, preparing and submitting Suspicious Activity
Reports (SARs) in line with regulatory guidelines.
- Manage client exit
processes where necessary, ensuring all financial crime risks are mitigated and
documented appropriately.
- Collaborate closely
with financial crime, compliance, and risk teams to support investigations and
remediation efforts.
- Maintain accurate and
detailed records of all due diligence activities and decision
- Stay up to date with
evolving financial crime regulations and best practices to ensure ongoing
compliance.
Skills/Basic Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Risk,
Compliance, Audit, Financial Crime or KYC environments is required
- Case Workers must be capable
of managing complex and higher-risk cases (EDD)
- Resources must
demonstrate strong investigative skills, risk assessment capability, sound
judgement, stakeholder management experience, and the ability to make
risk-based recommendations within a regulated Financial Services environment.
- Strong knowledge of
SARs processes, flagging suspicious activity, and client exit procedures.
- Experience working
with retail and/or corporate banking clients.
- Self-motivated with
the ability to manage workload and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant
certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or
equivalent.
- Experience within
large multinational banks or financial institutions.
- Familiarity with
financial crime technology platforms and regulatory reporting tools
