Role Description The KYC Reviewer (German native language only) is a full-time role based in Magdeburg with a hybrid work arrangement, combining office presence with the option to work from home. In this role, you review, verify, and validate customer identification documents and data for compliance with KYC and AML requirements, primarily in German. You assess risk profiles, ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards, and escalate suspicious or incomplete cases when necessary. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing customer information, updating records in relevant systems, documenting decisions clearly, and collaborating with compliance and operations teams to resolve queries. You also contribute to process improvements, maintain high accuracy and confidentiality, and support quality checks to ensure consistent KYC outcomes.

Qualifications

• Native-level German language skills and strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Experience in KYC, AML, compliance, or back-office processing within banking, insurance, or financial services.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to interpret regulatory and policy requirements.
• Proficiency with computer-based workflows, data entry, and common office software (e.g., MS Office, CRM or case management tools).
• Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to manage workload under time constraints.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and commitment to data protection and confidentiality.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborate within cross-functional teams, and adapt to process changes.
• Previous experience in an international or service-delivery environment and relevant vocational training or degree in business, finance
