Show job description

Labor Mobility Partnerships (LaMP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating right-respecting labor mobility opportunities for people from low-income countries. We do this by working with multi-sector stakeholders to deliver innovative proof of concept solutions, provide technical assistance, and establish right-sized evidence for policy influence. This requires developing and carrying out projects across labor sectors and mobility pathways on a global level. To this end, LaMP is also building local, regional, and global coalitions of multi-sector actors committed to scaling quality labor mobility pathways.

LaMP is seeking a consultant that will contribute to our work in identifying and outlining solutions on labor migration in the long-term care sector. This includes desk research, stakeholder engagement, workshops, and writing outputs to chart a path to operationalising the CCF

  1. Expand the scope of the CCF developed under the B-Care Project by covering 10 OECD countries (5 of which EU member states) identified in collaboration with LaMP’s team.

  1. Develop comparability methodology and competence-based assessment design through desk analysis and semi-constructed interviews with key (public and private) actors in the long-term care space.

  1. Outline, produce, and copyedit different work products (including one-pagers, presentations, concept notes for fundraising opportunities and project reports).

  1. Support liaising with the long-term care ecosystem (including employers’ associations, recruitment professionals and relevant government agencies) in both sending and destination countries.

The successful candidate will have a deep knowledge of the long-term care sector, a proven ability to manage client relationships, a propensity to develop consensus-driven initiatives, and bring out-of-the-box thinking.
