Job Description:
Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior Lakehouse Platform Test Engineer with strong experience in testing modern Lakehouse and data platforms. The role will focus on validating data pipelines, framework and configuration changes, integrations, and end-to-end data flows while ensuring platform stability and data quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for Lakehouse platforms and data pipelines.
- Validate pipeline, framework, configuration, schema, and platform changes.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and transformation testing using SQL.
- Develop automated testing and data validation solutions using Python.
- Build and maintain regression and integration test suites.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot test and pipeline failures and perform root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, and Architecture teams.
- Support production releases and post-deployment validation.
