🎯 What's your mission?
You will be responsible for the chromatographic analysis of samples from personal care, fine fragrance, home care, laundry care, and air care products. You will create formulations using olfactory raw materials and perform procedures such as liquid-liquid extractions to facilitate further chromatographic analysis.
🛠️Here’s what you’ll be rocking every day
Analyze fragrances (by GCMS/FID) in a variety of consumer products such as in Fine Fragrance, customer oils, Personal Care, Air Care and Household.
Work on fragrance formula reconstitution.
Lead individual analytical projects, exchange and discuss results with perfumers.
Interact with internal departments such as Perfumery, Compounding Laboratory, Application, QC, R&D & Evaluation.
Knowledge of how to perform extractions of fragrances from personal care & household products, determine the fragrance dosage of alcoholic samples, chromatographic equipment maintenance and run them with Eurofragance’s protocols. Extraction of fragrances from personal care and household products using common laboratory methods (L-L, SPME, etc.)
Develop and maintain a high level of fragrance raw material knowledge (Analytical and Olfactory).
Prepare and run samples requiring dosage determination.
Sample preparation and sequence programming for sample injection.
Preparation of the laboratory equipment, material, and reagent inventory; stock control; departmental purchasing; and receipt of purchased materials.
✅ What you need to shine in this role
Degree in Chemistry oy Engineering / Acceptable master degree in chromatography Knowledge of general chromatography.
At least one year of experience working with chromatography equipment—whether through professional internships or school projects or another industry, for example in pharmacy, fragrance, flavors, etc.
