L&D & Talent | HR Manager 【Global Luxury Group】

This is a L&D & Talent Manager role with a strong emphasis on Performance Management and Leadership Development.

Working closely with business leaders and HR stakeholders, you will help strengthen talent development, leadership capabilities, and organizational effectiveness across Japan.

• Partner with managers and HR stakeholders to ensure a consistent and effective annual performance management/review process
• Design and implement leadership development programs for managers
• Support talent identification, development, and succession planning initiatives
• Act as a trusted HR partner to managers and business leaders on talent and performance-related topics
• Lead HR projects and initiatives with a high degree of autonomy

Reporting to: Regional HR Head, based in Japan

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to take significant ownership of Talent, Performance Management, and Leadership Development within a highly strategic Japan business, while working closely with both local and global stakeholders.

Location: Tokyo

Level: Manager / Senior Manager – flexible depending on experience

Working Style: Hybrid – 2 days remote per week; preference for candidates comfortable spending more time in the office

Candidate Profile

• Solid experience in L&D, Talent Management, Performance Management, or a related HR function
• Proven experience managing or leading an annual performance review/appraisal process
• Experience designing or delivering leadership development programs
• Experience outside retail is preferred
