Job Description
• Work closely with Sr. Vice president to manage his calendar, organise group meetings, maintain
knowledge repository system.
• Support in executing the business development strategy to expand EI's reach and impact with CSO, governments and grantmakers.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing partners to ensure mutual success and continued collaboration.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align partnership objectives with organizational goals and initiatives.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.
• Represent EI at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to promote brand awareness and partnership opportunities.

Requirements
Must Have
• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on opportunities.
Good to Have
• Previous experience in business development, partnerships, or related fields (communications/marketing/PR).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop actionable plans to achieve business objectives.
• Ability to build flexible and agile financial models on Microsoft Excel or similar platforms.
• Experience in responding to procurement opportunities such as submitting government tenders, etc.
Knowledge, Experience & Qualification
• Bachelor's degree in journalism, education, social sciences, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proven track record of managing complex partnerships and driving revenue growth.
• Knowledge of the education sector and key stakeholders is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Skills in design software such as Canva preferred.
