Lead AI & Machine Learning Consultant (m/f/x)

Responsibilities

• Advise on AI/ML architectures, data pipelines, and scalable analytics solutions.
• Review and optimize machine learning workflows, data quality, governance, versioning, and reproducibility processes.
• Support privacy-compliant handling and preparation of complex datasets.
• Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations to project stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment with industry best practices, compliance requirements, and scientific standards.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Computational Biology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting AI/ML initiatives in life sciences, healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device, or research environments.
• Strong Python expertise (e.g. pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, shap).
• Solid understanding of machine learning, statistical modeling, and large-scale data processing.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP) is beneficial.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder management skills.
