--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job Title: Lead Analyst, Advanced Technology Office location: Bengaluru / Hybrid Job Type (perm/FTC) Permanent Context & Job Purpose GXO is seeking an experienced Lead Network Engineer to support the implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of our global enterprise network infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring high network availability, reducing incident resolution times, and supporting large-scale transformation initiatives, including SD-WAN deployments, infrastructure modernization, and cloud connectivity enhancements. As a key member of the Global Network Services team, you will collaborate closely with internal engineering teams and strategic vendor partners to maintain operational excellence and deliver a standardized, secure, and scalable network environment worldwide Key responsibilities Network Operations & Support Support day-to-day network operations, including incident triage, troubleshooting, and service restoration. Coordinate with managed service providers and vendors to resolve network issues effectively. Drive continuous improvements in network stability, availability, and performance. Participate in major incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution activities. Network Engineering & Implementation Execute network configuration changes, upgrades, and deployments in accordance with global standards. Support network modernization initiatives, including SD-WAN implementations and infrastructure refresh programs. Perform pre-deployment validation, implementation support, and post-deployment verification activities. Assist with lifecycle management, including hardware refreshes, software upgrades, and remediation of end-of-life infrastructure. Vendor & Service Management Monitor vendor performance against service levels and operational expectations. Escalate and manage issues related to delivery quality, SLA compliance, and project execution. Serve as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external service providers. Documentation & Continuous Improvement Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, standards, and operational runbooks. Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, automation, and troubleshooting workflows. Support initiatives that transition operations from reactive support to proactive monitoring and management Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Architecture, Platform Services, Security, and Cloud teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards. Support strategic transformation initiatives and future-state network designs. Education & Certifications required: One or more of the following certifications are preferred: CCNP or equivalent networking certification Fortinet Certified Solution Specialist HPE Certified Network Professional Palo Alto Security Operations Professional ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent operational experience Experience 7-11 years of experience in Network Engineering, Network Operations, or Infrastructure Support. Strong understanding of enterprise networking technologies, including: Routing and Switching WAN technologies VPN solutions Wireless networking (WLAN) Experience troubleshooting complex network incidents across multiple technology domains and vendors. Experience working within outsourced or managed-services environments. Knowledge of network monitoring platforms and ITSM/ticketing tools. Familiarity with cloud networking concepts; Google Cloud experience is advantageous. Experience supporting multi-site, regional, or global network environments preferred Preferred Skills Experience with one or more of the following technologies is highly desirable: Fortinet SD-WAN Aruba Central Cisco Meraki Forcepoint Solutions Enterprise Network Monitoring Tools Cloud Connectivity and Hybrid Network Environments Working Environment This role supports GXO's global logistics and warehouse operations and contributes to a large-scale network transformation journey involving SD-WAN deployment, modernization of legacy infrastructure, and increased cloud adoption.
