The Role The Lead Associate, Employer Brand & Emerging Talent will lead the development and execution of Save the Children's employer branding and early talent strategies to strengthen the organization's ability to attract, engage, develop, and retain mission-driven talent. Through employer branding, university partnerships, internship and fellowship programs, employee advocacy, and talent pipeline development, this role will enhance Save the Children's reputation as an employer of choice while building sustainable early talent pipelines. Location Hybrid – Washington DC, Fairfield, CT or Lexington, KY office locations What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Duties) *not inclusive of all role responsibilities. May be subject to change Employer Brand & Talent Attraction (30%) Support implementation and governance of the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) by maintaining employer branding standards, messaging, and talent attraction assets Develop employer brand campaigns targeting critical talent segments Manage career site content and candidate-facing materials Develop content for LinkedIn, Indeed, Instagram, Tik Tok, Handshake and other attraction channels (in partnership with the Marketing/Social Media team(s) - including an employee ambassador program that empowers employees to serve as authentic brand advocates through storytelling and content creation Benchmark, research, and recommend new and different methods to attract candidates Future Talent Programming & Engagement (30%) Lead implementation of Save the Children's organization-wide Internship & Fellowship Strategy by supporting annual recruitment, engagement, development and conversion plans Develop internship marketing materials Maintain early talent candidate pipelines Coordinate and enhance the Internship & Fellowship Development Program including a curriculum covering career readiness curriculum, executive speaker series, LinkedIn Learning journeys, networking events, career planning and community-building activities Develop and maintain an internship and fellowship alumni network Track conversion, retention, and career outcomes Business Engagement & Workforce Planning (15%) Partner with hiring managers and HR business partners to create meaningful internship and entry-level opportunities Develop manager toolkits and onboarding resources Promote internship participation as part of annual workforce planning Encourage business ownership of early talent development Partner with Culture & Engagement team to support early talent onboarding program to accelerate the successful transition of interns, fellows, and entry-level employees into the organization University & Strategic Partnerships (15%) Develop & manage relationships with colleges, universities, minority-serving institutions, and graduate programs Establish long-term partnerships with career centers, faculty, and student organizations Coordinate campus engagement strategies including career fairs, classroom presentations, and networking events Build relationships with nonprofit leadership programs and fellowship organizations Analytics & Continuous Improvement (10%) Track employer brand and early talent program performance metrics Analyze campaign effectiveness and engagement trends Monitor employer review platforms and candidate feedback Recommend continuous improvements that strengthen talent attraction and early talent outcomes Key Deliverables Operationalize EVP activation plan Develop annual employer branding content calendar Own and manage employer brand social media channels, including content publishing, community engagement, and performance analytics Establish employee ambassador program Establish university partnership framework Execute & maintain Internship & Fellowship Strategy Deliver the Internship & Fellowship Development Program Increase internship-to-employment conversion rates Required qualifications for the role Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus at least 3 years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding, Recruitment Marketing, Early Talent Programs, Human Resources, Learning & Development, or University Relations. Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects and building collaborative partnerships with internal stakeholders and external organizations Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop engaging content, facilitate presentations, and communicate effectively with diverse audiences Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate programs and events, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data, metrics, and feedback to evaluate program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, recruitment marketing platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake, or learning management systems Professional proficiency in MS Office suite Professional proficiency in spoken and written English Preferred qualifications for the role Experience developing or supporting internship, fellowship, university recruiting, or early career development programs Experience managing employer branding, recruitment marketing, social media, or employee advocacy initiatives Experience working in a nonprofit, international development, or mission-driven organization Experience designing and facilitating learning, onboarding, or professional development programs Compensation Save the Children is offering the following salary ranges for this position, dependent on candidate location: Geo 1 - NY Metro, DC, and other locations with labor costs significantly above national average: Target Salary for this position is $72,250 - $80,750 base salary Geo 2 - Locations around the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $65,450 - $73,150 base salary Geo 3 - Locations significantly below the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $59,500 - $66,500 base salary The salary ranges listed above are for US based candidates. For candidates located outside of the US, salary ranges will be based on the salary scales of the local employer of record. Actual base salary may vary based on, but not limited to, relevant experience, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location (more information on job structure is available here ).
