Position Overview:
As a Contract-Lead Brand Designer, you’ll own the creative direction behind every Charlotte’s Web campaign. You’ll come up with the concepts, shape the strategy, give feedback to the design team, keep the work on brand, and help manage the team’s creative workload.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Run several projects at once, keeping the work strong while still hitting deadlines
- Develop the look and feel of each campaign, from first idea to final creative
- Make sure final files are ready to go for every channel, both print and digital
- Keep our brand guidelines up to date and build on them as the brand grows
- Partner with external agencies to plan and direct brand, lifestyle, and campaign photo shoots
- Help come up with ideas for packaging, signage, in-store displays, and branded swag
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of creative experience, ideally at a brand, an agency, or on an in-house team
- A portfolio that shows your campaign work and the thinking behind it
- Expert in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator); After Effects is a plus
- Experience with performance marketing and a good sense of how design choices affect results
- Can handle several projects and shifting priorities without letting details slip
- Great at both ideas and communication. You can pitch a concept just as well as you can make it to leadership
- Comfortable working within brand guidelines, and you know when it makes sense to push them
- Experience with wellness, CPG, or lifestyle brands
Competencies:
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Thinks about the customer first and solves problems creatively
- Takes ownership of the work and cares about the results
- Does well in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly
Physical Requirements:
This job involves sitting and working at a computer for long stretches, regular meetings and presentations, and some light office tasks, like lifting up to 10 pounds.
This position requires 1-2 days in the office.
