A role you will love
As a Lead Business Analyst, you will work with business and technology teams across global regions to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client, operational, and regulatory requirements. Partnering with Product Managers, Product Owners, Project Managers, and technology teams, you will drive strategic initiatives, product enhancements, and process improvements that support business growth and innovation.
You will lead business analysis activities, ensuring best practices, tools, and techniques are applied consistently, while helping to shape and prioritise the product backlog in line with business and product objectives. You will also provide leadership to a small team of Business Analysts, overseeing performance, resource allocation, and development to ensure successful delivery against business priorities.
This role requires a proactive, self-driven professional with strong business analysis expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to influence and build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Key responsibilities

- Set and assure standards for requirements quality, stakeholder engagement, traceability, operational readiness and delivery support across the BA team.
- Provide oversight and challenge on high-risk or ambiguous initiatives, ensuring analysis outputs, delivery risks, readiness evidence and decision points are clear and well-managed.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across Product, Operations, Technology and delivery teams, influencing priorities and resolving competing needs.
- Coach, mentor and develop Business Analysts and Senior Business Analysts, building capability through feedback, peer review, knowledge sharing and practical guidance.
- Manage team capacity, priorities and performance in partnership with the Head of Business Analysis, ensuring BA resource is aligned to business priorities.
- Champion end-to-end operational readiness, ensuring business impacts, process changes, training, testing, support and adoption are considered from discovery through to implementation.
- Drive continuous improvement in BA practice by identifying recurring issues and translating them into improved templates, standards, guidance and ways of working.
- Promote effective Agile and Product-aligned delivery practices, supporting well-refined backlogs, clear decision-making and collaborative delivery.
- Lead the responsible use of approved technology and AI tools across the BA team, embedding guardrails while improving documentation quality, modelling speed, insight generation and knowledge reuse.
- Build and promote reusable BA assets, prompts, playbooks and knowledge hubs to improve consistency, onboarding, delivery efficiency and future AI-enabled ways of working.
- Use delivery data, retrospectives and stakeholder feedback to measure improvements in BA quality, consistency, stakeholder confidence and operational effectiveness.
