We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst to support a strategic e-commerce program, driving requirements elicitation, backlog management, and seamless collaboration between business stakeholders and distributed development teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough business requirements elicitation, gathering and documentation
- Convert business requirements into functional/non-functional requirements and technical stories (Enablers)
- Break down epics into INVEST user stories using various techniques, documenting acceptance criteria
- Break down features into E2E scenarios, create user journeys and other diagrams to visualize functionality
- Utilize Agile/SAFe methodologies effectively to maintain SDLC
- Write technical stories that clearly communicate complex concepts
- Communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and developers
- Initiate and lead internal discussions to ensure offshore dev team alignment, and remain available to address developer questions and remove blockers within the working day
- Balance customer focus with internal team needs, ensuring the dev team has the clarity needed and team concerns are addressed
- Work hand in hand with the Product Owner, stakeholders of various levels, and other teams
- Use AI-assisted tools to increase day-to-day work efficiency
- Apply experience in Ecommerce and Search domains
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a background in Ecommerce and Search domains
- Expertise in Agile/SAFe methodologies and SDLC processes
- Proficiency in writing technical stories, functional/non-functional requirements, and INVEST user stories
- Familiarity with API features
- Skills in facilitating meetings, managing conflicts, and supporting client decision-making
- Capability to work independently and take ownership of complex tasks with limited input
- Competency in coordinating distributed teams across onshore and offshore locations, respecting time zone differences
- Strong leadership skills and flexibility in addressing evolving client needs while ensuring alignment with sprint goals and delivery objectives
- Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on efficiency, responsibility, and teamwork
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
