Location: Anywhere in Mexico (Remote)

Schedule: Working hours that overlap with the U.S. business day (EST)

We’re looking for a proactive Lead Construction Project Manager to coordinate multiple U.S.-based construction projects remotely. The role requires strong ownership of scheduling, procurement, and inventory tracking, along with the confidence to lead project calls and challenge deadlines that put delivery at risk.

You will work closely with U.S.-based contractors, vendors, designers, and client stakeholders to keep materials, decisions, and site activities aligned with project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Scheduling and Procurement

  • Build and maintain project schedules, including milestones, dependencies, and delivery deadlines.
  • Manage procurement schedules from material approval and ordering through fabrication, shipping, and delivery.
  • Track supplier lead times and flag long-lead items before they affect site progress.
  • Follow up on purchase orders, vendor commitments, and outstanding approvals.
  • Recommend practical alternatives when material availability or site conditions threaten deadlines.

Inventory and Material Tracking

  • Maintain accurate records of materials ordered, received, stored, and allocated to each project.
  • Coordinate with onsite teams to confirm quantities, delivery status, shortages, and damaged items.
  • Identify discrepancies and follow through with vendors and contractors until resolved.
  • Keep inventory and procurement trackers current and clearly organized.

Project Leadership and Coordination

  • Lead project calls with contractors, vendors, and client stakeholders.
  • Establish clear action items, owners, and deadlines, and follow up on commitments.
  • Assess proposed timelines and respectfully push back when deadlines are unrealistic.
  • Explain schedule constraints using lead times, dependencies, and site information, and propose achievable recovery plans.
  • Identify risks early and escalate issues with recommended next steps.
  • Coordinate RFIs, submittals, change orders, and design decisions that affect procurement or construction.
  • Monitor project budgets and communicate the cost impact of delays or changes.
  • Support punch list completion, material reconciliation, and project closeout.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to travel to the United States multiple times as required for project needs.
  • Proven experience managing construction projects, including remote support for U.S.-based projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, procurement workflows, supplier lead times, and inventory tracking.
  • Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and material schedules.
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Strong spoken and written English, with the confidence to lead client and contractor calls.
  • Ability to negotiate realistic commitments and hold stakeholders accountable professionally.
  • Proficiency with project management tools, spreadsheets, and procurement trackers.
  • Availability to overlap with U.S. EST business hours.
  • Reliable computer, internet connection, and a suitable remote workspace.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with U.S. commercial interiors or retail fit-outs.
  • Experience coordinating custom millwork, finishes, and other long-lead materials.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Procore, Primavera, Buildertrend, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
