Lead Data Software Engineer

We are seeking a Lead Data Software Engineer to build cloud-scale data platforms and AI-driven automation and shape reliable, high-performance systems. You will design data infrastructure on Google Cloud, deliver BigQuery and Dataform solutions, and create AI agents with the Google Agent Development Kit while codifying environments with Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable data pipelines and infrastructure using cloud-native tooling
• Develop and maintain data transformation workflows that enable analytics and reporting
• Build and deploy AI agents to automate and improve data-driven processes
• Manage infrastructure as code to deliver consistent, repeatable deployments
• Tune data warehouse performance and improve query efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert business needs into technical solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that supports data engineering initiatives
• Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to maintain reliability and performance
• Contribute to the architecture and design of data platforms and agent-based systems

Requirements

• Proven track record with 5+ years of experience in data software engineering
• Hands-on experience using Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Deep understanding of Google Cloud BigQuery and Dataform
• Demonstrated skills in AI Agents Development and Google Agent Development Kit
• Solid proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation work
• English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher
