ALSERRY is seeking an experienced **Lead DevOps Engineer** to lead the design, implementation, and operation of secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure and CI/CD environments.

- Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS and/or Azure.

• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

• Manage Docker and Kubernetes environments.

• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.

• Establish DevOps, security, and operational best practices.

• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, deployment, and production issues.

• Lead technical initiatives and mentor DevOps engineers.

• Improve automation, reliability, performance, scalability, and cloud cost efficiency.

- Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or a related field.

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure.

• Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.

• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, networking, and cloud security.

• Strong scripting skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar.

• Strong leadership, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

⚠️ Must currently reside in Egypt ⚠️

⚠️ Must be available to work U.S. Eastern Time (EST/EDT) business hours ⚠️️

⚠️Must be comfortable working in a fully remote environment ⚠️

- Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch.

• Experience designing highly available and disaster-resilient cloud environments.

• Experience leading or mentoring DevOps/SRE engineers.

• Knowledge of cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices.

• Experience implementing DevSecOps and security automation.

• Relevant AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or Terraform certifications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
