Lead Full-Stack Engineer (Apache Spark, Java) at BairesDev

As a Lead Full-Stack Engineer, you will drive the architectural design and execution of our enterprise data platforms. In this role, you will lead the development of highly scalable distributed processing systems while mentoring engineering teams to ensure optimal technical alignment and engineering excellence.

What You'll Do

• Establish long-term technical and architectural standards for distributed data processing systems across multi-cloud environments.
• Architect, build, and optimize robust backend pipelines and user-facing applications to manage high-throughput data workloads.
• Mentor and guide senior engineers, fostering a collaborative culture of continuous learning and technical improvement.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to align platform scalability strategies with business-critical objectives.
• Oversee the deployment and orchestration of containerized workloads to guarantee high availability and system reliability.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Big Data Platform Architecture, or Distributed Systems.
• Proven expertise in designing, building, and optimizing distributed data processing systems using Apache Spark.
• Strong hands-on development experience in Java or Scala.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes and managing containerized data workloads.
• Experience setting long-term architectural direction and driving scalability strategies across multi-cloud environments.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
