Apply Description ABOUT THE COMPANY We’ve been building businesses on Amazon for more than 15 years and we continue to be on the forefront as Amazon platforms evolve. We’re uncomfortable calling ourselves experts - since Amazon is always changing, we’re constantly adapting - but the breadth of our knowledge is vast and our team’s diverse experiences elevate our partners’ businesses. We’re marketers, advocates, data scientists, supply chain managers, Amazonians, advertisers and merchants. But most importantly, we’re brand builders. Let’s build brands together. POSITION OVERVIEW The Lead Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs focused on GO’s tools and platforms (e.g., Skai, Intentwise, MerchantSpring, SmartScout, AMC, and others) that build employee proficiency and support organizational capability. This role works in close partnership with the Ad Product Enablement team to design and deliver tool and platform training, and partners with business leaders and subject-matter experts to identify training needs and translate complex, technical platform content into clear, usable training. The ideal candidate has instructional design expertise, strong technical/analytical comfort, and the ability to manage end-to-end tool and platform training initiatives with strong communication. Responsibilities Conduct tool- and platform-specific training needs assessments using data, interviews, surveys, and performance metrics. Partner closely with the Ad Product Enablement team to design and deliver training on GO’s tool stack, including Skai, Intentwise, MerchantSpring, SmartScout, AMC, and other platforms as the stack evolves. Translate complex, technical, or jargon-heavy platform content into clear, usable training for diverse audiences. Design content using adult learning principles and industry best practices, tailored to tool and platform training. Develop course materials, including facilitator guides, participant materials, microlearning, job aids, and digital resources. Build and maintain certification and proficiency frameworks to track tool and platform training completion and competency, beyond general program-completion metrics. Leverage learning technologies (LMS, authoring tools) and platform-specific reporting/analytics tools to create, manage, and measure training content. Design and deliver change management training tied to new tool and platform rollouts and launches, often on quick turnaround timelines. Holistically manage assigned tool and platform training programs - including scoping, scheduling, stakeholder communication, and evaluation. Manage the training content and resource library, keeping the resources up to date and available for our teams to utilize as needed. Provide individualized support (e.g., coaching plans, 1:1 sessions) for team members who are slower to adopt a new tool, partnering with their managers and in collaboration with the PD-focused L&D Specialist role. Coordinate external training resources as needed. Track participant progress and certification/proficiency outcomes using evaluation frameworks. Use learning analytics, including platform-specific reporting tools, to measure training effectiveness and identify areas for enhancement. Continuously refine content and delivery based on feedback and performance outcomes. Stay current with GO’s tool stack, platform updates, and the broader retail media/ad tech landscape. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, or related field. 5+ years of experience in learning & development, instructional design, or talent development roles, ideally with a technical/tool-training focus. Experience designing and facilitating training for diverse audiences in a corporate environment. Preferred: Experience in ecommerce (Amazon, agency, brand). Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities. Ability to analyze learning and platform data and translate insights into actionable improvements. Strong technical/analytical comfort, including experience with LMS and authoring tools plus platform-specific reporting/analytics tools (e.g., Skai, Intentwise, MerchantSpring, SmartScout, AMC). Strong Excel skills. Ability to translate complex, technical, or jargon-heavy content into clear, usable training materials. Creative problem-solving and ability to innovate within tool and platform training.
