Job Summary

We’re looking for a Master Data & Standardization Lead to build and govern the trusted data foundation that powers Chromalloy’s analytics and AI strategy. This high-impact role establishes golden records, standardized taxonomies, data quality, and lineage across core systems, resolving recurring master-data challenges across customers, vendors, part numbers, units of measure, and financial data.

Work That Matters
At Chromalloy, your work directly supports aviation safety and reliability. Our teams repair and manufacture critical aerospace components used across the global aviation industry. Whether you’re improving processes, supporting operations, solving technical challenges, or driving business performance, your contributions help keep aircraft flying safely around the world.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Run a structured single-source-of-truth exercise by identifying key master-data fields, including customer and OEM part numbers, vendor, customer, unit of measure, and GL/chart of accounts; define the system of record for each and assign an accountable data owner.
• Design, build, and govern a versioned and documented golden data model that every ERP, MES/PLM, and the data warehouse map to and follow.
• Where no single source of truth exists, establish an AI-enabled transformation and translation layer that automatically maps non-standard data to the golden standard until source systems converge.
• Specify and oversee standardization applications that enforce standards at the point of entry. Examples include vendor-request workflows that validate names, addresses, and W-9 information; assign the correct vendor code or create a clean record; detect duplicates and typos; recommend similar vendors; provide an AI-generated company overview; and surface cross-site spend visibility. Apply the same pattern to part numbers, customers, and units of measure.
• Resolve duplicate vendor and customer records across multiple ERPs through entity resolution, de-duplication, and front-end standards.
• Establish standardized taxonomies, naming conventions, and cross-system data consistency, and lead data-quality profiling, lineage, remediation, and measurement.
• Operationalize the data governance model, including stewardship roles, policies, and standards, in partnership with IT Security & Governance.
• Ensure master-data and governance processes appropriately handle ITAR-controlled data and CUI within the CMMC Level 2 and NIST SP 800-171 environment.
• Partner with the Applied AI Engineer and BI consumers to ensure downstream solutions rely on trustworthy, governed data.

What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in information management, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in master data management and/or data governance.
• Hands-on experience with MDM and data-quality tools such as Informatica, Profisee, or comparable platforms.
• Strong cross-system data-modeling skills and experience with ERP and MES data domains.
• Experience defining standards, taxonomies, and stewardship models in a complex, multi-site organization.

Nice to Have
• Aerospace, defense, or gas-turbine industry experience.
• DAMA-DMBOK / CDMP certification.
• Familiarity with Epicor ERP and Tulip MES data structures.
• Experience with self-service data applications such as Power Apps and/or AI-assisted entity resolution and data matching.
• Experience in a CMMC / NIST SP 800-171 environment handling controlled data.

This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.
