Job Description

Strengthen security across Tribe FEC by turning complex risks and policies into clear decisions, practical actions and consistent ways of working.

You & your role

As Lead Security Professional, you know the secrets of turning complex security requirements into practical actions. You lead the tribe wide security community, drive alignment on priorities and ways of working, and ensure that security topics are addressed consistently across the tribe.

You create a clear view of the security posture, align priorities and support informed decisions. Without formal line-management responsibility, you challenge, advise and connect teams, senior leaders and central security stakeholders.

Examples from practice

• Translate central security policies, standards and controls into clear, actionable plans for technology teams.

• Monitor security risks, findings, exceptions and remediation activities, and escalate critical or recurring issues.

• Facilitate tribe-wide security forums and support coaching, peer reviews and knowledge sharing.

Top 3 responsibilities

• Provide functional leadership to Security Professionals and align priorities, quality expectations and ways of working across the tribe.

• Deliver clear reporting on security risks, overdue actions and progress to support decisions by the Tribe Leadership Team.

• Act as the primary security counterpart for the tribe towards the CISO organisation and ensure that enterprise security standards are translated into practical and consistent implementation.

Together, you help ensure that security is an integral part of delivery and decision-making. You also advise on security capacity, priorities and capability development across the tribe.

You & your talent

• Bachelor or master's degree in cyber security, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Extensive experience in information security, cyber security, or security governance.

• Experience working in large-scale technology organisations and agile environments.

• Strong understanding of security frameworks, risk management, and control implementation.

• Experience advising senior leadership teams on security risks and priorities.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Proven ability to drive collaboration across multiple departments and disciplines.

• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, SABSA, or equivalent.
