WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT FOR US

We are looking for a practical Lead Business Consultant to join SimCorp’s growing Transaction Regulatory Reporting Team.

SimCorp provides a broad range of services and is now expanding the team responsible for our cloud-based Regulatory Reporting Platform. As part of our core team, we are looking for a Lead Business Consultant with solid investment management software expertise to keep our platform up to date and compliant with the latest regulations.


Within the Transaction Regulatory Reporting Team, you will work with experienced and collaborative colleagues who are experts in providing solutions and services to SimCorp market units around the world. This unique combination of market experience in regulations and expertise in SimCorp Dimension encourages an environment of building and sharing knowledge which keeps SimCorp ahead of current regulatory trends.


By working with our Regulatory Reporting Platform, you will drive SimCorp’s growth potential across new and existing customers across the world. The Platform provides complete end-to-end monitoring of Transaction Reporting to comply with EMIR, MIFIR, and SFTR regimes.


While based in Warsaw, the global reach of Transaction Regulatory Reporting Team will give you exposure to different market units around the world, and all parts of SimCorp's internal organization.


WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Implementation and maintenance of configuration solutions based on SimCorp Dimension for European financial institutions and Asset Managers.
  • Support maintenance and enhancement of SimCorp’s Regulatory Reporting Platform in close collaboration with its Manager.

WHAT WE VALUE

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree holder
  • You have experience in Investment or Asset management software, like SimCorp Dimension or similar - analysis, design, test and implementation of financial systems (asset/investment/regulatory platform will be ideal)
  • Basic knowledge in cloud technologies like scripting languages, XML and APIs. – beneficial – it is useful to understand how they connect to the system and convert to XML format
  • Experience in or knowledge of MIFIR (Markets in Financial Instruments Regulation) or its equivalents.
  • You are service-oriented.
  • You can take initiative during your regular customer interactions.
  • You act professionally and you have effective communication and presentation skills.
  • You enjoy coaching and transferring your knowledge willingly.
  • You are fluent in English.
  • You have the capability to bridge the gap between business requirements and the technical implementation.
  • You have 2+ years of work experience in a consultancy firm or IT department of a financial firm
  • You have experience working in a globally distributed organization.
  • Understand, and interpret regulatory texts (legal ordinances, law texts, guidelines, implementing technical standards) or are willing to build up and incorporate these qualifications
