Are you passionate about turning complex customer data into meaningful, personalised customer experiences? We're looking for a Lead Specialist - Customer Data Platform to join our Customer Data Platform team and play a key role in shaping how customer data is onboarded, unified, and activated across the organisation.

In this hands-on specialist role, you'll work at the intersection of data engineering, customer platforms, and activation, partnering with enterprise data teams and business stakeholders to deliver trusted, high-quality customer data through Salesforce Data Cloud.

What You’ll Do

As a Lead Specialist, you'll be responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying Salesforce Data Cloud solutions that enable customer personalisation at scale. You'll collaborate with data engineers, architects, platform owners, and activation teams to ensure customer data is effective, trusted, and ready for use across multiple channels.

  • Design and configure Data Model Objects (DMOs), Data Stream Objects (DSOs), Data Lake Object mappings, and ingestion frameworks within Salesforce Data Cloud.
  • Build and maintain Identity Resolution rules and unified customer profiles.
  • Lead end-to-end customer data onboarding initiatives across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Establish data quality controls, validation processes, and implementation standards to ensure trusted customer data.
  • Partner with enterprise data platform teams to ensure curated datasets meet Data Cloud requirements and governance standards.
  • Collaborate with decisioning, activation, and analytics teams to deliver data solutions that enable customer engagement and personalisation.

What makes you perfect for the role?

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, including data modelling, ingestion, and identity resolution.
  • Strong understanding of Databricks, data lakes, or enterprise data platforms, with advanced SQL skills and experience using Python or similar scripting languages.
  • Experience delivering customer data solutions in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Salesforce certifications and experience working within Agile delivery environments are highly regarded.
