Lead Technical Artist

What You'll Do Be the go-to person for addressing any critical technical art implementation to ensure that asset creation follows accurate guidelines. Drive technical solutions to achieve high visual fidelity while balancing hardware limitations. Prepare and optimize visual assets for integration into the game engine. Troubleshoot and resolve visual or technical issues during development and testing. Collaborate closely with developers and artists to implement new game features and UI builds. Support onboarding and training of junior Technical Artists. Assist in the preparation and ongoing development of workflow documentation. Find opportunities for, and build, custom tooling to empower the technical art team. What We're Looking For 7+ years of experience as a Technical Artist in game development or a related field. Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Photoshop. Experience with game development pipelines, preferably in slot or casual games. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Perforce, Github) and task tracking tools (e.g., JIRA). Exposure to Unity, GLSL shaders, or scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Solid understanding of animation principles, composition structures, and asset optimization. A proactive approach with a passion for mentoring and continuous improvement.
