Lead User Experience Designer/Developer

Location: Warsaw / Hybrid

Contract Type: B2B, 12 months

Rate: 150-160PLN/hour

What you’ll do:

• Lead the design and front-end development of client-facing enterprise portals.
• Turn business requirements into wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Build scalable, reusable front-end components and UI libraries using React.js and TypeScript.
• Establish and maintain UI/UX standards and design system consistency across applications.
• Work closely with product, business and backend teams to deliver technically feasible solutions.
• Review code and support developers with both technical and design feedback.
• Ensure responsive, accessible and high-quality user experiences across portal applications.
• Support usability testing, design validation and continuous improvement.
• Mentor mid-level developers across both UX and front-end development.

What you bring:

• 14+ years of overall software/product design experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on React.js and TypeScript development.
• Strong UI/UX design and prototyping experience, ideally with Figma and design systems.
• Proven ability to translate requirements into production-ready, responsive and accessible interfaces.
• Strong understanding of front-end architecture, component design and modern development practices.
• Experience with code reviews and technical/design leadership.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with both business and technical stakeholders.

Nice to know:

• Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift and modern CI/CD environments.
• Java or .NET knowledge.
• Micro Frontend architectures such as Module Federation or single-spa.
• Basic SQL/database knowledge.
• Experience in financial services, fund administration or transfer agency environments.
