We’re looking for a Leadership Development Trainer to join our growing Organisational Development team and help strengthen leadership capability across Priory.
As our Organisational Development offering continues to grow, you’ll have the opportunity to play a key role in shaping and expanding our leadership development programmes. You’ll design, deliver and assess a range of learning, including ILM-accredited qualifications, workshops and psychometric profiling, working with managers and leaders at all levels.
This is a great opportunity for a qualified trainer, tutor or assessor who enjoys creating engaging learning experiences and making a real difference to how people lead and develop their teams.
This is a remote role, although you’ll need to be comfortable travelling across the UK occasionally, including occasional overnight stays.

What you'll be doing
You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering Priory’s leadership development offer, helping managers and leaders build the skills and confidence they need to lead effectively.
You’ll:
- Design, develop and deliver programmes including the Priory Leadership Programme and ILM-accredited qualifications in leadership, coaching and mentoring.
- Act as a tutor and assessor, supporting learners through their qualifications and providing constructive feedback to help them progress.
- Create and deliver engaging workshops, webinars and blended learning covering leadership, people management and coaching.
- Support our REACH Leadership Programme and deliver tailored development activity for Senior Leadership Teams, including psychometric profiling and team-building sessions.
- Deliver learning virtually and face-to-face across Priory, with occasional travel to sites across the UK, including some overnight stays.
A key part of the role will be ensuring our programmes remain high quality and relevant. You’ll work closely with the L&OD team to evaluate learning, gather feedback and continually improve our leadership development offer.
You’ll also:
- Assess learner work against ILM standards and maintain accurate records of learner progress and assessment.
- Support quality assurance and standardisation, including IQA activity and awarding body requirements.
- Help develop new ILM qualifications and learning interventions in response to changing business needs.
- Keep up to date with leadership, management and learning best practice, bringing new ideas into our programmes.
- Contribute to wider L&OD projects and priorities as required.
What you'll bring to the role
You’ll be an experienced learning and development professional with a strong background in leadership development, training and assessment. You’ll be confident working with people at all levels and able to create engaging learning experiences across different formats.

- A recognised teaching or training qualification, such as a PGCE, Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent, alongside an assessor qualification.
- A Level 5 or above qualification in Leadership and Management, such as ILM or CMI.
- Experience designing and delivering leadership and management development programmes across different levels, from frontline managers through to senior leaders.
- Experience tutoring and assessing ILM or CMI-accredited qualifications, with a good understanding of awarding body requirements.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
- Experience creating engaging learning content using different formats and tools, including PowerPoint and Canva.
- Experience delivering workshops, webinars and blended learning, both virtually and face-to-face.
- Strong data and evaluation skills, with the ability to use learner feedback and data to improve programmes and demonstrate impact.
- A willingness to work towards an IQA qualification if you don’t already hold one.
