Learning And Development Specialist

Role Description The Learning and Development Specialist will design, develop, and refine training materials for CAD, CAM, and CAE software, aligned with the educational approach of CAD University | CAD Hub | CAD Guru. Typical responsibilities include analyzing learner needs, creating structured learning paths, preparing lesson plans, scripts, and supporting resources, and collaborating on video-based content and tutorials for the YouTube channel. The Specialist will manage and improve learning processes, track learner feedback, and recommend updates to existing content and future training topics. Regular tasks also involve coaching learners through online interactions, ensuring clarity of instruction, and maintaining educational quality standards. This is a part-time, remote role that offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to contribute to accessible technical education.

Qualifications

• Training & Development skills to design and deliver effective educational programs.
• Learning Management capabilities to organize curricula, track learner progress, and refine learning pathways.
• Instructional Design skills to create structured, engaging, and clear learning materials and video scripts.
• Strong Communication and Coaching skills to explain complex concepts simply and support learner success.
• Familiarity with CAD, CAM, or CAE tools and workflows, with the ability to translate technical topics into teachable content.
• Experience in online education, e-learning, or content creation for digital platforms (e.g., YouTube, LMS) is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet agreed deadlines.
• Relevant academic background or professional experience in engineering, design, education, or a related field is an advantage.
