About The Role

Avoca is looking for a Learning & Capability Coordinator to join our People & Culture team at our Head Office in Kilmacanogue, Co. Wicklow, with hybrid working.

This role supports learning and capability across Avoca, helping our people and managers build the skills they need to succeed.

It is a great opportunity for someone early in their People & Culture or learning career who wants to develop their experience while taking responsibility for coordinating learning activity across a diverse business.

What You'll Do

Coordinate learning and capability activity across Avoca.

Manage and maintain our Learning Management System.

Work with subject matter experts to turn business knowledge into simple, engaging, and accessible learning and e-learning content.

Track mandatory and other learning and follow up on completion.

Coordinate the learning and capability elements of colleague and manager onboarding.

Coordinate and track key people processes including probation reviews, performance reviews, and Performance Improvement Plans.

Support the coordination of talent and succession planning.

Coordinate our colleague engagement survey and follow up on agreed actions.

Support apprenticeships, development programmes, and work experience.

Maintain accurate learning and capability data and provide regular reporting.

Support the rollout of new policies, processes, and systems.

Bring forward new ideas and digital learning solutions that make learning simpler and more effective.

What You'll Bring

You will ideally have around 1-2 years' relevant experience in learning, HR/People & Culture, training coordination, or a similar role.

A CIPD qualification or be actively working towards one.

Previous experience using and administering a Learning Management System.

Experience creating e-learning or digital learning content.

Strong Microsoft 365 skills.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Clear and confident communication skills.

The confidence to work with and follow up with managers at different levels.

An interest in creating simple, accessible, and impactful learning.

A willingness to learn, develop and bring forward new ideas.

Facilitation or presentation experience would be an advantage, but we'll support the right person to continue developing these skills.
