Learning & Development Business Partner | London (Hybrid) | £50,000-£58,000 | 18-Month FTC
We’re partnering with a well-established adult-education provider in central London to recruit an L&D Business Partner on an 18-month fixed-term contract.
Our client is one of the capital’s leading adult-learning organisations, a charity based in the heart of Covent Garden with a genuine mission around lifelong education. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves building learning cultures and getting creative with how development comes alive, especially in a budget-conscious environment where ideas matter more than big spend.
What you’ll do
Partner with Heads of Schools, Departments and the Quality team to spot learning needs and design solutions that land. Working alongside the Head of HR and Executive Director of HR, you’ll shape and deliver L&D strategy, design engaging programmes and workshops, build blended learning across face-to-face, virtual and digital, and develop the in-house SharePoint learning hub. You’ll manage apprenticeship and professional qualification programmes, oversee compliance training, and use data to prove learning impact and ROI. Throughout, you’ll champion equality, diversity and inclusion in everything you build.
What we’re looking for
CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent qualification/experience), with evidence of ongoing CPD in L&D, OD or talent. Significant experience partnering to identify and deliver development solutions, and designing, facilitating and evaluating learning programmes. Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, coaching and project-management skills. Confidence with learning technologies and digital platforms. A genuine passion for education.
CIPD Level 7, a coaching/mentoring qualification, or apprenticeship and levy-funded experience are all a bonus.
The details
18-month fixed-term contract. £50,000-£58,000. Hybrid: 3 days a week in the Covent Garden offices, 2 days from home. You’ll join a close HR team at a charity that genuinely believes in lifelong learning.
