Clausen Miller P.C., a national law firm is seeking a qualified Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join its Texas Team. Candidate must be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, be familiar with Texas legal procedures, protocols and court system and be able to monitor and meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and work well with others. Must be knowledgeable with formatting legal documents.
Duties include, perform conflicts checks, maintain/organize files in document management program, prepare correspondence and pleadings, prepare attorney expense reports, calendar litigation response deadlines and civil remedy response deadlines, draft pleadings and legal documents, and e-file in State Court and Federal Court. Candidate must also be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.
This full time benefit eligible position is a hybrid role requiring both in-office and remote work days (2 days in office and 3 days working remotely from home). Must reside in the greater Houston or surrounding area. Medical / Dental / Vision / Life Insurance / Long and Short Term Disabilty Benefits / plus 401(K) are offered!
Salary range for this role is $55,000 to $70,000.00 DOE.
