Legal Associate – Evaluator | Fully Remote | Part-Time

Role Overview

We are T-Maxx, a global talent solutions platform. We are partnering with a leading global AI and language technology company to recruit experienced legal professionals for an AI training project.

In this role, you’ll apply your expertise in legal analysis, contract review, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment to evaluate and improve AI’s legal reasoning. By reviewing legal interpretations, challenging unsupported conclusions, and identifying overlooked legal risks, you’ll help AI approach legal work with the accuracy and judgment of an experienced professional.

This is an opportunity to shape how AI supports legal teams, bringing the professional insight behind your legal research, contract reviews, and business recommendations into AI development.

No previous AI training or data annotation experience is required. Project guidelines will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Design realistic legal tasks from your experience — contract review, legal research, regulatory analysis, policy comparison, and due diligence.
• Review AI-generated legal analyses and contract summaries, checking cited laws, interpretations of key provisions, and relevance to the applicable jurisdiction.
• Evaluate AI-prepared compliance assessments and risk summaries, identifying overlooked obligations and risks related to liability, termination, confidentiality, and payment terms.
• Provide corrected analyses, suggested clause revisions, and concise legal commentary showing how to interpret provisions, assess risks, and support business decisions.

Ideal Qualifications

• Experience in legal practice, contract review, legal research, or compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field, or a recognized legal qualification.
• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills, with attention to detail.
• Bar admission or relevant professional certifications are a plus, but not required.
