ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Legal & Compliance Intern/Associate , you will support the enforcement of compliance policies and help safeguard Arches' operations and expert engagements. This role offers hands-on experience with global compliance practices and legal operations in a fast-paced, cross-border business environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Compliance & Screening

• Learn and apply Arches' compliance policies across internal and client-facing operations.
• Conduct background checks on experts and companies using third-party tools.
• Assist in maintaining the Do Not Contact (DNC) list and updating client-specific compliance requirements.

Cross-Team & Operational Support

• Provide basic compliance guidance to the Operations team under supervision.
• Notify internal stakeholders (eg, Account Leads) of updates or potential risks.
• Support documentation of compliance practices and case records.

Process & System Support

• Input and maintain compliance-related data on internal systems.
• Collaborate with teams to identify process gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Stay updated on internal policy changes and assist with knowledge sharing.

REQUIREMENTS

• Final-year law student or recent graduate available for a full-time position for 6 months.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn legal/compliance processes.
• Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Familiarity with legal research or regulatory standards is a plus.
• You are strongly motivated to grow your career in Legal and Compliance.
• You have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
