Legal Consultant (Commercial Contracts)

Overview We are seeking an experienced legal consultant to support a fast-moving AI and emerging technology environment within the US. This role is ideally suited to a commercially minded legal professional who is comfortable operating in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments and who has experience advising on complex technology agreements and regulatory compliance matters. Key Responsibilities Advise on complex technology agreements, with a particular focus on SaaS agreements and other technology-related commercial contracts , as well as emerging technology matters across US jurisdictions. Navigate regulatory compliance requirements and jurisdiction-specific contracting considerations across multiple US states and markets. Identify, assess, and proactively manage legal and regulatory risks in connection with AI and experimental technologies while maintaining commercial agility and deal velocity. Support customer and stakeholder engagement during the initial secondment period to inform the development of a scalable managed legal services framework. Collaborate cross-functionally with business, commercial, and operational teams in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and deadlines. Key Requirements Strong experience advising on complex technology and SaaS agreements , including negotiating and drafting commercial contracts with customers and/or technology providers. Preferred expertise in regulatory compliance frameworks relevant to AI, experimental technologies, and emerging technologies across US markets. Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, and ambiguous environments. Strong understanding of AI technology trends and the evolving regulatory landscape. Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and risk assessment skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently in a fast-paced commercial environment.
