Legal Counsel Apply Now! B2Tech is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its Legal & Compliance team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Legal & Compliance and senior management, supporting the Group across a broad range of commercial, corporate, regulatory and compliance matters. This is a hands-on in-house role for a qualified lawyer with at least three years of post-qualification experience who is comfortable taking ownership of matters, managing competing priorities and working across multiple jurisdictions in a fast-paced international environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive Commercial Legal Matters: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including supplier, service, consultancy, NDA, software, technology, and licensing agreements. Support the Business: Provide practical and commercially focused legal advice to internal teams and senior management on day-to-day business matters. Manage Corporate Matters: Support Group entities with incorporations, corporate approvals, resolutions, director and shareholder changes, powers of attorney, and related corporate matters. Navigate Regulatory Requirements: Assist with licensing and regulatory matters across multiple jurisdictions, working closely with external counsel, regulators, and advisers. Strengthen Compliance: Support KYC, AML, due diligence, and wider compliance requirements relating to counterparties, partners, and service providers. Monitor Regulatory Developments: Keep up to date with legal and regulatory changes relevant to the Group, particularly within online gaming, technology, payments, and related sectors. Provide Broader Legal Support: Assist with data protection, privacy, employment, HR, internal policies, disputes, complaints, and other legal matters affecting the Group. Coordinate External Stakeholders: Liaise with external lawyers, regulators, banks, corporate service providers, and other professional advisers, ensuring matters are progressed efficiently. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in law (LLB or equivalent). Admission to the Cyprus Bar Association. Minimum 3 years’ post qualification experience as an in-house legal role. Strong experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements. Good understanding of corporate and commercial law. Fluent in Greek and English, both written and spoken. Additional language shall be considered as an advantage; Ability to manage multiple matters independently and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills, sound judgement, and excellent attention to detail. A practical, commercially minded, and solutions-focused approach to legal matters. A proactive and ownership-driven mindset, with the confidence to work closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
