Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Law from reputable Law Faculty (master degree is an asset),
• Minimum 3 years of experience in legal departments or consultancy law firms,
• Excellent command of written and spoken English,
• Knowledge of litigation and privacy matters,
• Interest in delivering a pro-active, business focused service that anticipates risks and prevents commercial impacts,
• A team player with excellent communication and presentation skills,
• Strong time management skills with ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline oriented environment,
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with organizational skills
• Able to use MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint and other commonly used IT to an intermediate level.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and provide timely updates and guidance to relevant business stakeholders.
• Manage and oversee litigation and dispute matters handled by external law firms, including monitoring case strategy, progress, deadlines and outcomes.
• Coordinate with external law firms to ensure the effective and timely management of litigation and dispute resolution matters.
• Prepare and follow up on court writs, salary garnishment orders, garnishment notices and other enforcement-related legal documents.
• Prepare, review and submit responses to Consumer Arbitration Committees and handle legal notices, including garnishment and attachment notifications.
• Manage legal notices and formal correspondence, including the preparation and review of responses to customer and third-party requests.
• Maintain and monitor the litigation portfolio and provide regular reporting on material cases, legal risks, provisions and potential financial exposure.
• Coordinate with external counsel and ensure the quality, consistency and cost-effectiveness of external legal services.
• Support the Company on data protection and privacy matters, including compliance with applicable data protection legislation, data subject requests, privacy notices and contractual privacy requirements.
• Provide practical and business-oriented legal advice to internal stakeholders and proactively identify and mitigate legal risks.
