The role in detail

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join company’s legal team. Grant Thornton’s Legal Department provides legal support to the company on a wide range of commercial/corporate, contractual, labor and regulatory matters, manages disputes and litigation, along with external counsels, and contributes to protecting the company's interests.

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Provide legal guidance to project managers on drafting and negotiating contracts for their project as well as for legal risks during the project

• Support company’s internal departments (HR, Finance, Procurement, Marketing etc) in complying with applicable legal requirements and company’s policies

• Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure company’s compliance with GDPR, AML, ISO standards and other applicable regulatory frameworks

• Conduct legal research on complex matters, particularly in commercial/corporate and labor law fields, taking into account relevant business considerations

• Carry out tasks for legal internal projects and relevant administrative activities

• Assist in corporate governance issues (BoD, GM minutes, PoAs etc)

• Track litigation matters and maintain up-to-date legal files

To be successful at this role you need the following:

The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities effectively, and confident in collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. They thrive in a team environment, understand and follow established guidelines, bring innovative thinking and a proactive, solution-oriented approach and demonstrate strong legal risk awareness and sound professional judgment.

While knowledge matters, the right mindset is equally important to success. We seek people with growth-oriented mindset who work with agility and adapt to a rapidly changing world.

Qualifications

• University degree in Law from a distinguished university

• Master in Business Law or Master in business (preferred)

• Speaking and writing in English fluently

• 3-5 years of relevant experience (as qualified lawyer) in similar working environment (in-house legal department) on the tasks described for the role

• Knowledge in any of GDPR, AML, public tenders, AI Act, ISO compliance is considered as a strong asset

• Familiarity with emerging technologies and case management tools

• Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills

• For male candidates, completion of military service is preferred
