Legal Growth Specialist (Finland)

Role Description We are looking for a Legal Growth Specialist, for a hybrid/on-site role based in Helsinki, focused on driving adoption and expansion of Jonsbok in Finland among legal and compliance-focused organizations. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and qualifying growth opportunities, conducting outreach to prospective clients, and managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to onboarding. The role involves collaborating with legal and product teams to understand user needs, shaping growth strategies, and translating platform capabilities into clear value propositions. The Legal Growth Specialist will coordinate projects that support market entry and customer success, track performance metrics, and provide feedback to enhance product features and go-to-market approaches.

Ideal candidate We’re looking for someone who has e.g., just graduated from law school or has up to a year of experience, and who is ready to step off the usual legal career path into something less predictable and a lot more exciting. A non-lawyer candidate with relevant experience in for example Legal Tech or an experienced Paralegal could also be a fit for the role. Experience in the legal field and legal AI tools is a must, and experience at a startup, in sales or at something like Slush is a plus, but not a must. What is a must is a bold attitude and a healthy dose of “tehdään vaan”. You should also be fluent in Finnish and English, and Swedish is a plus.

The role isn’t a legal job, but your legal background is a clear advantage: you understand how lawyers work, what frustrates them and how Jonsbok can help. On top of that, you’ll get real responsibility from day one, hands-on experience in GTM, sales, marketing and most importantly building a start-up, and a close view of how a startup grows in a new market.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in the legal field and with legal AI tools is a must
• Candidates should possess excellent communication skills in Finnish and English, with Swedish being a plus, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders, present complex concepts clearly, and build long-term relationships.
• Candidates should possess project management skills, including planning, prioritization, cross-functional coordination, and timely execution.
• Relevant experience with SaaS or technology products is a plus
• Knowledge in the Finnish legal system or legal workflows; prior work with law firms, corporate legal teams, or public institutions is a plus.
• Masters/Bachelor’s degree in law, business, economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work hybrid/on-site in Helsinki and collaborate within an international, multi-disciplinary team.
• Ability to travel both domestically and abroad.
