About the company
Our client is a legal technology company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Serve as a senior subject-matter expert in civil litigation for a single state market, blending practitioner insight with customer-facing consulting. The work spans supporting the sales team, informing product decisions and raising the company's profile through speaking and written content.
What you'll do
- Chart how civil cases move from intake to final judgment and spot the steps where software can save legal teams time and effort.
- Partner with sales colleagues to hold peer-level discovery conversations with senior law firm leaders about how their practices operate.
- Act as the voice of local users for the product organization, turning field insight into well-supported requirements and scenarios for technical teams.
- Keep up to date on court filing rules, local procedures and county-by-county variations, and act as the internal reference point for the market.
- Speak at bar associations, conferences and continuing legal education sessions, and produce webinars and practical guides for legal professionals.
What we're looking for
- At least 6 years working in Texas civil litigation, either as a licensed attorney or in a senior operations or support leadership role at a law firm.
- A law degree and active Texas bar membership are strongly preferred.
- Track record of leading technology rollouts and process improvements within a legal practice.
- Working knowledge of Texas court structure, civil procedure rules and how practices differ from county to county, including why electronic filings get rejected.
- Hands-on experience managing the service of process, from working with outside servers to preparing supporting documentation and related court motions.
- Comfort in advisory and presentation settings, including client meetings, proposals and public speaking.
- Familiarity with widely used law firm case and practice management platforms.
- Strong credibility and presence when discussing the business and technology of law with senior lawyers and firm administrators.
- Preferably based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with willingness to travel periodically for meetings, training and industry events.
