Legal Graduate - Recruitment Resourcer
Manchester City Centre
Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid Working (Monday & Friday WFH, 3 office days)
Not sure a traditional legal career is for you?
Perhaps you've completed your law degree and started your legal career as a paralegal, legal assistant or trainee, but you're beginning to realise that life in practice isn't quite what you expected.
If you still enjoy the legal world, love building relationships, and want a career with genuine progression, commercial exposure and earning potential, legal recruitment could be the perfect alternative.
We're looking for ambitious law graduates and early-career legal professionals to join our Manchester team as a Recruitment Resourcer, providing a structured entry into specialist legal recruitment.
This is a fantastic opportunity to use your legal knowledge in a different way while building a long-term career with one of the UK's most established legal recruitment businesses.
Why Consider Legal Recruitment?
Many of our consultants started their careers in law before deciding they wanted something different.
Legal recruitment allows you to:
- Stay connected to the legal profession and legal careers
- Build relationships with lawyers and law firms across the UK and internationally
- Work in a fast-paced, people-focused environment
- Develop commercial and business skills often not gained early in legal practice
- Earn bonus and commission on top of your salary
- Progress into a career with significant long-term earning potential
The Role
Initially, you'll join as a Recruitment Resourcer (180 role), supporting our consultants in identifying and engaging talented legal professionals.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Researching the legal market and identifying potential candidates
- Speaking with lawyers about their career goals
- Building relationships with candidates and keeping in regular contact
- Managing candidate information and recruitment processes
- Supporting consultants with live assignments and candidate delivery
- Developing a strong understanding of the legal recruitment market
What We're Looking For:
- A Law degree (minimum 2:1 preferred)
- Paralegals, legal assistants or legal graduates with up to 12 months' legal experience are particularly encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational and research abilities
- A positive, resilient and ambitious mindset
- An interest in commercial careers and the legal sector
- The confidence to speak with professionals at all levels
What We Offer
- £26,000 - £28,000 salary depending on experience
- Bonus scheme from the outset
- Hybrid working (Monday and Friday from home)
- Full-time, permanent position
- Comprehensive training and mentoring
- Clear progression opportunities
- Supportive and collaborative team environment
- A modern Manchester city centre office, on Deansgate
